In this game-based lesson, students will be divided into partnerships or small groups to play a Guess Who game that reviews the Influential Figures from the previous interactive slideshow lesson.
Students can work in groups of 2 or 4. If students are working in groups of two, it would be a 1:1 game. Students can also play in teams as 2 students versus 2 other students. Depending on the makeup of your class, you may decide to play either way.
This Guess Who? Illinois Edition document includes all of the required pieces for the Guess Who Game, but requires some additional materials and assembly. Teachers will need 2 file folders per game set, multiple print outs, velcro and baggies. Laminating the game board and pieces will also make the game last for multiple years. The document explains the assembly. There are also pictures included that demonstrate how to assemble.
